Media: The terms of the US-Iran agreement have been published

According to Al Arabiya, a document outlining fourteen key points has been reached between Washington and Tehran. The document stipulates an immediate and permanent cessation of hostilities, which includes ending the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon. Under the terms reported, both sides have pledged to refrain from any hostile actions, threats, or the use of force against one another.

Furthermore, the United States and Iran have agreed to enter negotiations aimed at reaching a comprehensive final agreement no later than 60 days. This timeline, however, remains flexible and can be extended if both parties mutually consent to a longer period of discussion. Separately, Donald Trump expressed a desire to increase pressure on Russia.

In exchange for this stance, he proposed that European allies immediately lift the blockade on Iran’s ports once the overarching agreement is signed, thereby fully restoring shipping operations in the Persian Gulf. A significant component of the proposed framework involves the withdrawal of US forces. The US has indicated that it will withdraw its forces from the “neighboring territories” thirty days following the signing of the final agreement.

These details suggest a phased de-escalation process contingent upon adherence to the agreed-upon terms and the successful conclusion of negotiations between the involved parties.
