The newly established Tripartite Council will feature representation from several key Lithuanian economic and labor bodies. The business sector representation includes two delegates from the Lithuanian Confederation of Industry (LPK) and two from the Lithuanian Confederation of Business (LVK). Additionally, the council structure allocates one representative each from the Investors’ Forum, the Lithuanian Confederation of Employers (LKE), and the Lithuanian Confederation of Employers and Trade Unions (LKTE).
The labor representation is structured through several major unions. Three representatives are designated from the Lithuanian Confederation of Trade Unions (LTPK). Furthermore, the council will include two individuals from the Lithuanian Trade Union Solidarity and two from the Lithuanian Trade Union of the Republic, ensuring broad union participation.
Government involvement is managed through several ministries. The representation includes two delegates from the Ministry of Social Security and Labour (MSAL) and two from the Ministry of Economy and Innovation (MEI), alongside representation from the Ministry of Finance. Finally, one representative will be appointed by the Government’s Chancellery.
The composition guidelines also specify that ministers who have relinquished their posts will not participate in the deliberations of the Tripartite Council. This detailed structure aims to ensure comprehensive stakeholder input across the Lithuanian economic landscape.
