K. Budrys will participate in the Ukraine Reconstruction Conference in Gdansk

A Lithuanian diplomatic official is scheduled to address a discussion session focused on the operations of the Ukraine transport support fund. During this event, the official will participate in the signing of a joint declaration alongside the Swedish Infrastructure Development Minister, Andreas Carlson, and the Ukrainian Vice-Premier for State Reconstruction, Oleksii Kuleba. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the primary goal of this declaration is to bolster collaboration among Lithuania, Sweden, and Ukraine.

The agreement aims to guarantee timely, coordinated, and practical support for restoring Ukraine’s vital transport and logistics infrastructure. These capabilities are deemed essential for the nation’s broader economic development, export capacity, and ensuring the mobility of its population. Furthermore, the conference agenda includes a second signing ceremony.

K. Budrys will also sign a separate joint declaration between the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ukrainian Ministry of Municipalities, formalizing a broader partnership framework. Collectively, these agreements underscore a multi-faceted commitment to Ukraine’s recovery efforts.

The focus remains heavily on practical measures supporting the country’s post-conflict reconstruction. The joint declarations solidify international and bilateral support structures, aiming to accelerate the revitalization of critical national systems necessary for Ukraine’s future stability and economic reintegration.
