“Norfos baseinas” after reconstruction: plenty of goods, everything is within reach

The revamped shopping hall, spanning approximately 5,300 square meters, now features an extensive selection of both industrial and food products, utilizing the latest technological solutions. This store originally opened 17 years ago within the industrial district of the capital, housed in the former metal processing plant known as “Vilniaus Vingis.”

According to representatives from the 163 stores in Lithuania, the initial concept of the store reflected the standards of its time. At that time, groceries, particularly long-life goods, were displayed on trays, and the dedicated section for perishable food items was limited.

However, management soon recognized a shift in consumer preference. The reliance on tray displays had diminished, leading to a growing need for a more conventional retail environment. This realization prompted a strategic overhaul.

The store was subsequently updated to accommodate a larger variety of goods, moving away from the initial presentation style. The current iteration provides a modern shopping experience with an expanded range, ensuring that the large selection of industrial and food products meets contemporary market demands.
