Temporary traffic restrictions in Vilnius: temporary closure of traffic lanes due to work in progress

Bridge infrastructure improvements are scheduled to take place over several nights, with the associated construction work designed to minimize daytime disruption to local traffic flow. According to the company managing the project, the necessary repairs will be conducted primarily after dark. The nightly procedure involves closing one lane while allowing traffic to continue moving through the remaining operational lanes.

During this time, the company will be responsible for dismantling and subsequently reassembling the beam-leveling frame as part of the overall construction work. The planned schedule dictates specific periods for the work. From 7:00 PM on July 1 through 6:00 AM on July 2, work will be executed in the direction of Vaitotų.

Following this, a second phase of work is scheduled from 7:00 PM on July 2 until 6:00 AM on July 3, focusing on the direction of Vaidotų. While the project aims to enhance the structural records of the city’s bridges, the company noted that there are additional improvements planned for the area. Residents and drivers are advised to anticipate significant disruptions to their usual routes due to the nature of the work.

The company has provided these detailed schedules to keep the public informed about the necessary nighttime closures and the associated management of traffic flow.
