The coastal area seamlessly blends natural beauty with amenities designed for resident comfort. This recreational space features a bathing area situated on the coast, providing a convenient stop for kayaking enthusiasts. Nearby facilities include a beach volleyball court and a tennis court, catering to various recreational activities.
For relaxation, the area also incorporates a cozy rest zone furnished with beds, tables, and a secure barbecue space. Further enhancing the usability of the space, outdoor exercise equipment has been installed. Additionally, a concrete chessboard and several comfortable rest areas equipped with beds, tables, and a safe barbecue zone are available for community gatherings.
The revitalization of this entire area was initiated by the residents themselves. Their collective ideas were transformed into reality through the Participatory Budget initiative, which was organized by the Vilnius District Municipality. Supplementary funding was also secured from the Ministry of Agriculture, enabling the successful completion of the project.
The resulting location serves as a multi-functional hub for both leisure and community interaction.
