The prosecutor of the Organized Crime and Corruption Investigation Department of the Vilnius Regional Prosecutor’s Office has requested that both individuals convicted pay a fine of 5,000 euros each. The underlying incident stems from March 2024 in Vilnius. According to case records, the former police officers received a report concerning a vehicle parked in a shopping center parking lot. The report indicated that the car was improperly parked, its windows were covered with rain, and the driver inside was suspected of intoxication.
