Laivo cook Laurynas returns to the shore: in Palanga he will cook crispy chicken sandwiches

Laurynas is launching a new culinary venture in Palanga with his longtime friend, Edvinas Stuopelis. The new establishment, named “Soul and Cheese,” is set to operate as a food kiosk. For Laurynas, the project represents a source of renewed energy and joy as he transitions from the summer season back into his professional routine.

Laurynas brings a wealth of diverse experience to the culinary field. His career has been rooted in the maritime industry, spanning roles from oil platforms to working on icebreakers, ferries, and various other vessels. His operational experience includes managing large-scale logistics, notably providing meals for up to 900 people daily.

His professional voyages have taken him across significant global routes. He has navigated the Baltic and North Seas and has worked in locations including Canada and Montenegro. Furthermore, his service on the vessel Sent John placed him near the vicinity of Greenland.

While his background is deeply connected to the sea, his new venture allows him to focus on the role of a cook and entrepreneur within the local community of Palanga. The opening of “Soul and Cheese” marks a new chapter for Laurynas, combining his professional passion with a local commitment.
