Three people were injured in a car accident in Telšiai region.

According to reports from the Telšių County Police Department, a traffic incident occurred on the evening of July 12 at approximately 7:27 PM at the uncontrolled Vainočiai-Raudondvaris interchange. The collision involved several vehicles, including a Volkswagen Touran and a commercial Mercedes-Benz Actros. Authorities reported that the driver of the Volkswagen Touran, identified as a sober male born in 1977, failed to allow the Mercedes-Benz Actros, operated by a sober male born in 1996, to pass on the main roadway.

This action resulted in a direct impact between the two vehicles. Following the initial collision, the Volkswagen Touran sustained a secondary impact with a third vehicle, a Toyota. As a result of the accident, the driver of the Volkswagen Touran was reported to be injured.

The individual was subsequently transported to a facility and hospitalized for necessary outpatient treatment. Police reports confirmed that all drivers involved were reported to be sober at the time of the incident. The accident highlights instances of traffic maneuvering difficulties at the specified interchange location.

The incident prompted police investigation into the sequence of events that led to the multi-vehicle collision.
