M. Sinkevičius about his land plots: everything is public and declared

Speaking to LNK Žinioms, M. Sinkevičius addressed ongoing media coverage regarding his personal affairs, stating that while he does not rule out various future processes, such as potential handover procedures involving himself or his family, he wishes to emphasize a key point about the narratives surrounding him. He asserted that many of the stories that have been repeatedly covered, and sometimes reduced to mere remnants of news, detail plots that are already known to the public.

According to Sinkevičius, it is not difficult for media representatives to verify these claims because the data housed within the Registrų center is accessible. He specified that this public data allows scrutiny of his property holdings and all notarial transactions, including the associated sums. Sinkevičius maintained that all relevant information is public and declared.

He concluded by stating that, in principle, it would be preferable if individuals holding positions of power were not affluent. His statement frames the discussion around transparency, suggesting that the financial aspects of his life are already documented and available for public review, thereby undermining the premise of undisclosed information or hidden plots.
