After the U.S. surrender – Chinese threats

New regulations are being implemented by the United States that affect the stay of foreign journalists and students, signaling a tightening of visa requirements. According to proposed amendments, the standard permissible duration for foreign journalists within the country would be restricted to 240 days, with an option available to apply for an extension of an equal length. Separately, the rules put forth by the Washington Internal Security Department outline specific terms for chinese nationals.

These guidelines grant an initial stay of 90 days, which can reportedly be extended for an additional 90 days. In response to these policy shifts, a spokesperson for the Beijing Foreign Affairs Ministry issued a statement addressing the changes. The spokesperson asserted that China “categorically opposes discriminatory actions by the United States against specific countries.” The statement highlighted that the US is generally tightening rules for both foreign students and journalists, limiting visas to specific timeframes.

Furthermore, the spokesperson explicitly demanded that the United States immediately revoke what it termed its “discriminatory policy against China.” The reporting indicates that the adjustments to visa duration and residency limits are part of a broader effort by the US government to regulate international movement.
