Two separate traffic incidents involving pedestrian collisions were reported in Kaunas on July 17th. The first incident occurred around 10:05 a.m. at V.
Krėvės pr. A BMW vehicle, operated by a sober man born in 2002, struck a pedestrian who was born in 2007 while crossing the street. Following the collision, both individuals were transported to the hospital to receive treatment for their respective injuries.
Approximately forty minutes later, at around 10:45 a.m., a second collision took place at the intersection of Pravieniškių and Skuodo streets in Kaunas. In this event, a Volvo truck, driven by a sober man born in 1957, hit a pedestrian born in 1937. In both documented instances, the involved drivers were reported to be sober at the time of the accidents.
In both cases, the pedestrian and the driver were taken to the hospital for medical evaluation. Authorities confirmed that both pedestrians sustained injuries requiring immediate medical attention following the separate incidents that occurred on the same morning.
