A rare sight has graced the Lithuanian sky: we will be able to admire it for a short time

According to reports concerning local weather patterns, the most dramatic formations of clouds are observed when they cover a significant expanse of the sky. A particularly notable sight occurs on calm evenings near the coast, where the illuminated clouds reflect upon the water surface, creating a mirroring effect. However, observers are advised that this period of visible cloud activity is nearing its conclusion.

This seasonal display is expected to last only approximately one to two weeks. As early August approaches, the increasing darkness of the nights will signal the end of this exceptional cloud viewing season, marking the transition toward autumn conditions. Separately, local natural phenomena are drawing attention.

Reports have highlighted a rare natural event in the Baltic Sea and the Curonian Lagoon. Furthermore, residents are cautioned regarding the presence of mats of blue-green algae in the area, and are urged to exercise caution and avoid swimming in affected zones.
