On July 10th, an incident took place at a clinic in Saint-Martin-Boulogne, located in the northern region of France. A mother was waiting with her daughter for an ankle surgery when a doctor approached them. The woman said that the doctor stopped in front of them and spoke to them.
She asked the doctor if he was addressing her daughter, and the doctor nodded before leading the girl away. After some time, the doctor returned and informed them that there had been an error. The girl’s mother said the doctor had mentioned “Health code,” followed by “Tiredness, joint pain, and anti-inflammatory diet.” The mother subsequently said, “I’m sorry, we made a medical error.
We are very sorry.” It was revealed that the 17-year-old girl had been taken to the dentist, where four wisdom teeth were removed. The mother recounted her emotions, saying, “When I went into the post-operative ward to see my daughter, I cried.” She further said that she was visibly upset upon seeing her daughter.
