Following the completion of a form, the victim was contacted by an individual who spoke Russian. Subsequently, the victim communicated with a Russian-speaking “consultant” via the WhatsApp application regarding investment matters. On June 26, 2026, the victim transferred 200 euros from her bank account to the consultant’s account.
On the same date, 82.26 euros were reportedly transferred to her account as a reward earned from her own account. Later, the victim transferred an additional 1,300 euros into a newly opened bank account registered in her name. These funds were purportedly intended for conversion into US dollars for investment on the Brondesbury Global platform.
The fraudulent activity escalated on July 10, 2026, when a messenger claiming to represent the alleged “investment platform” arrived at the victim’s residence. This individual subsequently took 5,000 euros in cash, asserting that the money was required for further investment through the platform. The sequence of events detailed how the victim was systematically drawn into further financial transactions.
The involvement of multiple transfers and the physical removal of funds highlight the progression of the alleged scheme against the victim. The entire process centered on convincing the victim to manage funds through various accounts linked to the purported investment opportunity.
