The coordination was executed through short SMS messages and phone calls. The accused reportedly instructed two other individuals, A. B.
and I. S., who were at liberty, to arrange a meeting. The plan involved A.
B. meeting I. S., who was allegedly unaware of the criminal nature of the exchange.
The objective was for I. S. to transport a package containing a significant quantity of the narcotic substance, carfentanil.
Investigators established that I. S. was directed to deliver the package to the Kauno district court building in Kaunas, where it was to be passed on to S.
A. prior to a scheduled court session. In exchange for this service, I.
S. was slated to receive the narcotic substance as a reward. However, the substance was recovered and seized by Criminal Intelligence officers during the operation.
The investigation focused on the actions of the woman and the man, detailing how the conspiracy utilized communication methods to move illicit materials.
