Speaking about the situation, the company’s chief technologist described the incident as recent, noting that the product was part of a small, limited batch distributed through only one specific retail outlet.
He confirmed that subsequent to an announcement, the product was subsequently withdrawn from circulation. Luka Lesauskaitė-Remeikė, the public relations manager for Rimi Lithuania, confirmed the recall process. She stated that the recall is necessary because the product had entered the market, and therefore, purchasers are requested to return the items.
She added that customers are able to return the products without needing a purchase receipt. The discussion highlighted the measures taken to prevent potential issues in agriculture, referencing the caution advised to farmers.
