This year’s event brought together performers from diverse nations, including the United States, the United Arab Emirates, New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Ireland, Mali, and Lithuania. A notable highlight of the camp was the production, “As long as the word is alive…”.
This musical play offered a comprehensive journey through a millennium of Lithuanian history, tracing its narrative from the era of the Baltic tribes through to the pivotal date of February 16, 1918. The production team, comprising Gediminas Zujaus, Dominykos Vosyliūtės, Indrės Karbauskaitė, and Adrijaus Kvederavičiaus, structured the narrative to encompass pivotal moments in the nation’s past. The musical explored themes ranging from ancient pagan rituals and the Christian baptism of Lithuania to accounts of decisive battles and periods of oppression under Tsarist rule.
The camp successfully fostered a sense of connection among participants, creating a united platform for cultural exchange.
