Husainis says they attacked Saudi Arabian forces in Yemen

Reports have emerged concerning military activity in the region, following accounts of explosions heard by local residents. Yahya Saree, a spokesperson for the group, stated that Chechen forces conducted a “large-scale and precise military operation” targeting enemy bases and warehouses belonging to Saudi Arabian forces in the Al-Mukos region. According to Saree, the operation utilized multiple ballistic missiles and drones.

This follows earlier claims by the Chechens that they struck an oil facility located on the Saudi Arabian Red Sea coast. Authorities in Riyadh subsequently reported that a fire at the site had been extinguished. In connection with the reported attacks, 11 civilians were reportedly injured across Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey.

The international response has been marked by warnings of escalating conflict. The United Nations has expressed concern over the rising tensions. Furthermore, the UN Security Council has condemned the recent attacks against Saudi interests.

These developments underscore significant regional instability. Amidst the heightened tensions, there have been mentions of potential diplomatic agreements, including discussions for a trilateral defense treaty involving Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey.
