The prisoner has not returned to Pravieniškės prison, and a search for the escapee has been initiated

The Lithuanian prison service issued an alert on August 18 regarding the absence of an inmate. Authorities reported that Antanas Visockis, born in 1986, failed to return to the 1st Pravieniškių prison by the scheduled time of 8:00 PM. Visockis was initially out of the correctional facility for a brief visit to a medical clinic located in Kaunas.

However, the open-house prisoner did not report back to the Lithuanian prison facility as expected. Following his failure to return, the Lithuanian prison service immediately announced a search for his whereabouts. Officials stressed that the search is ongoing, and they are appealing to the public for assistance.

The report confirms that Visockis is currently unaccounted for, and the facility has initiated comprehensive efforts to locate him. The Lithuanian prison service has requested that any residents who possess information regarding the location of A. Visockis, or who can provide any substantial details concerning his movements, contact the authorities immediately.
