The police department reported that on August 18 at 11:58 a.m., a deceased man, born in 1997, was discovered inside his apartment located on Vyturio g. in Klaipėda. Upon examination, officers noted visible injuries on the body, leading the police to suspect the death was the result of foul play.
In connection with the incident, authorities apprehended a male suspect, born in 1982. The suspect was reportedly intoxicated at the time of his arrest and was subsequently transported to the police station for questioning. During the initial investigation, police found that the suspect was in possession of an illegal weapon.
Furthermore, the reports indicate that the suspect’s wife was also involved in the incident, having allegedly been shot by an individual identified by police as the perpetrator. The police are currently investigating the sequence of events surrounding the discovery of the man’s body and the subsequent arrest of the suspect.
