Organizers of the AERO NIDA festival anticipate record attendance this year, projecting that over 100 aircraft will land at Nida Airport. Kristina Zaronskytė, Director of the Nida Aeroklub and festival organizer, noted the consistent upward trend in aviation interest. She stated that efforts are focused on ensuring that AERO NIDA continues to grow annually, promising novel attractions for first-time visitors.
Zaronskytė highlighted the growing enthusiasm among aviators, pointing out that attendance surpassed 80 aircraft at the previous event. She expressed confidence that the momentum would continue, anticipating that more than 100 aircraft will grace the Nida Airport on September 12th. The festival’s program is scheduled to feature several notable aerial performances.
Attendees can look forward to performances from the aerobatic group ANBO, Polish aerobatics star Artur Kielak, and pilot Igor L. from the “Iron Wolf Aerobatics” team. The organizers emphasized that the primary goal remains the sustained expansion of the event.
By offering an increasing variety of attractions each year, the festival aims to build upon its established reputation while providing a compelling experience for both seasoned aviation enthusiasts and newcomers to the Nida event.
