During a recent shooting competition at the San Martino range, held from August 20th to 23rd, nearly one thousand participants representing 40 countries competed. The event challenged shooters to engage with 200 targets that traveled along various trajectories. Among the top performers was R.

Užukauskas, who scored 189 points. Following additional shooting rounds with Spaniard Francisco Rosa Ponce (scoring 24–22), Užukauskas secured third place in the youth category. Povilas Strasevičius, President of the Lithuanian Sports Federation, commented on the significance of the outcome for Lithuanian shooting in the sport.

He highlighted that the results demonstrate the transfer of expertise from experienced athletes to the emerging generation. According to Strasevičius, the achievements are a reflection of the consistent efforts put forth by the athletes, the professionalism of the coaching staff, and the broader support of the national sports community. The federation praised the athletes for their performance, noting that the success helps promote the Lithuanian name on the international stage of sports.
