Power supply has been largely restored across areas impacted by the recent storm that affected the Tele2 network. Technical teams are working continuously to expedite the restoration of service in all affected locations. Service has already been successfully restored in several regions, including Panevėžys, Telšiai, Klaipėda, Šiauliai, Tauragė, Vilnius, and Alytus.
The situation remains more complex in certain parts of Marijampolė, Kaunas, and Utena. Despite localized issues, customers can generally still make calls and send SMS messages across most of the affected areas. Of the 366 base stations initially impacted by the storm and power outage, the power supply has been restored to the majority.
As of Tuesday, 99 base stations remain without power. Company technical teams are deploying resources on a full-time basis to restore connectivity as swiftly as possible across all affected areas. Details on where service remains disrupted are being managed by the technical crews, who are focused on minimizing further downtime.
