Diesel prices across Lithuanian gas stations showed a decrease on Wednesday, according to the agency’s report. Prices ranged between 1.94 and 2.19 euros, resulting in an average cost of 2.07 euros. This represents a 1.77% reduction compared to Tuesday’s average price of 2.11 euros.
The lowest diesel rates of 1.94 euros were observed at two Neste gas stations located in Vilnius. Conversely, the highest prices, reaching 2.19 euros, were recorded at multiple locations, including thirty-four Viada gas stations, twelve Circle K gas stations, and specific sites such as Kenaoil in the Vilnius district, Kriketas in Trakai, and Degta in the Elektrėnų district. Gasoline prices also saw a downward trend across the network of gas stations on Wednesday morning.
The pricing spectrum for gasoline spanned from 1.68 to 1.92 euros, yielding an average price of 1.79 euros. This figure marks a 1.77% decrease when compared to Tuesday’s average price of 1.82 euros. Overall, the data indicates a consistent moderation in fuel costs across various gas stations throughout the country.
Consumers purchasing fuel should note the variation in pricing, as the cost per liter of both diesel and gasoline varies significantly depending on the specific gas station network. These fluctuations mean that while the average price across the board decreased, the difference between the cheapest and most expensive stations remains notable in terms of euros spent.
