During accidents in Alytus, Vilnius and Utena, cyclists, mopeds and one-seater drivers were injured

Multiple traffic incidents were reported across Lithuanian cities on separate occasions. Early morning in Alytus, at 07:25 on New Street, a Volvo V40 car was involved in a collision with an “ADO” electric bike. The car was driven by a man born in 1971, while the electric bike was operated by a man born in 1973.

Medical assistance was required for the driver of the electric bike. Later in the day, around 16:20 on Švitrigailos Street in Vilnius, another collision occurred. A Yamaha moped, driven by a man born in 1987, collided with a Toyota car operated by a man born in 2004.

The driver of the moped sustained injuries and was subsequently transported to the hospital. The final reported incident took place in Utena at 19:28 on Aušros Street. A woman born in 2006, driving a Mercedes-Benz, was involved in an accident while executing a turn off the main road.

She failed to yield to an electric bike traveling on the designated bike path. The electric bike was driven by a sober man born in 1967, who sustained injuries in the resulting collision.
