Electricity is not available to 22 thousand households – the situation is worst in one region

As of Sunday, R. Juodkienė reported that restoration efforts have successfully brought power back to over 93% of customers. However, an estimated 22,000 customers across the country still lack electricity service, with affected individuals scattered across numerous geographical areas.

According to Juodkienė, the most challenging situations remain in several specific regions, including Utena, Panevėžys, Kaunas, Alytus, and Šiauliai. Detailed data provided by ESO outlines the current scope of the outages in these key regions. Specifically, the Utena region reports the highest number of affected residents, with more than 11 thousand people without power.

Other significant figures include the Panevėžys region, which has approximately 4.6 thousand customers without electricity, and the Kaunas region, affecting 3.4 thousand people. In the Alytus region, the count stands at 1.7 thousand. The Šiauliai region reports a smaller outage count of around 400 people.

These figures highlight the localized nature of the ongoing restoration work across the various regions.
