Eurostat: April unemployment rate in Lithuania reached 7.1%, exceeding the EU average

In april, the employment statistics for the Euro area and the European Union indicated relative stability in unemployment figures compared to both the preceding month and the previous year. The unemployment rate stood at 6.3% for the euro area, while the rate for the broader European Union was reported at 6.0%.
