The Ministry of the Interior has reported the deployment of two specialized aid teams from Lithuania to Venezuela. These teams are mobilized to assist in disaster response efforts. The first contingent is the international search and rescue team, comprising 20 firefighters, two trained dogs, and two veterinarians from the State Fire Fighting Service.

The primary objective of this group is to conduct searches and execute rescue operations within the affected ruins. Complementing this effort is the Mobile Emergency Medical Aid Team. This second group consists of 15 doctors and five firefighters, who are also responsible for managing logistical support on site.

The core mandate of the medical specialists is to provide essential emergency medical care to the local population impacted by the disaster. The overall mission involves a coordinated effort where the lithuanian specialists will work alongside rescue personnel from various international nations, all coordinated through the established international civil protection system. The combined expertise of the teams aims to maximize both the effectiveness of the rescue efforts and the provision of immediate medical assistance to those in need.

The deployment highlights a multi-faceted approach, integrating specialized search capabilities with advanced emergency healthcare services to support recovery efforts.
