The Lithuanian Triples team basketball players became the tournament vice-champions in Bucharest

The Lithuanian women’s team recently concluded participation in a demanding multi-stage competition held in Romania. The squad demonstrated exceptional endurance throughout the event, undertaking a rigorous schedule that involved 33 matches spread over a seven-hour period. Despite the demanding nature of the competition, the Lithuanian contingent secured a notable placement, ultimately becoming the vice-champion of the stage.

This achievement was recognized with a financial award of ten thousand US dollars for the athletes. The success of the team highlights the high level of competition and dedication shown by the participating members. The Lithuanian delegation was represented by four skilled athletes: Audronė Zdanavičiūtė, Kamilė Nacickaitė – Van der Horst, Monika Grigalauskytė, and Justina Miknaitė.

Their performance underscored the competitive strength of the national program on an international platform. The journey through the Romanian competition required sustained focus and physical stamina from all members.
