The culmination of the week-long residency for the twenty “Artistico” participants and their instructors is scheduled for a series of performances beginning on July 17th. The young violinists and cellists will present their work at the Great Kintė Church. Their program will feature chamber music selections spanning various historical epochs and composers, accompanied by D.

On this day, Maria Sokolova, one of the “Artistico” solo cellists, will perform with the TASO orchestra. This engagement is part of the International M.K. Čiurlionis Festival, where the festival’s organizer, pianist Aleksandra Žvirblytė, extended an invitation to the talented musician.

Also featured on this date is Alisa Januševska, another emerging talent from Šilutė, who will perform on the program. The final scheduled performance takes place on July 19th. On this day, two more “Artistico” solo cellists, smuikiners Smiltė Petrošiūtė and Adriana Černiukaitė, will perform solo pieces under the guidance of maestro Lu Ching-Ming.

These performances offer the public a comprehensive view of the skills developed by the young cohort throughout the intensive residency period. The schedule provides multiple opportunities for the community to attend the concert and witness the development of these promising classical musicians in the designated hall settings.
