Representative of the Minister of the Environment I. Andriulaitytė to the press – R. Muzikevičiūtė-Narmontienė, who was a member of S. Skvernelis’s team

R. Muzikevičiūtė-Narmontienė confirmed to the Lithuanian press on Monday that she has taken on the role of Minister’s Adviser for Communications. Previously, she served as a representative for former Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis, who was also the Speaker of the Seimas, and later worked as a deputy for MP Rūta Miliūtė.

The appointment of communication advisers appears to be a pattern across various government departments. As reported by ELTA, other ministers have also appointed individuals to such advisory roles. For instance, Ignas Dobrovolskas is currently working as a representative for Inga Ruginienė, who has rejoined the Ministry of Social Protection and Labour (SADM).

Furthermore, the representative for the Energy Minister, Lukšas Savicius, has been appointed to a position involving the “Ignitis” gas company. These roles indicate a broader effort to manage communications across different ministerial portfolios. The Ministry of the Environment has also been in the news recently regarding an incident involving a new minister.

Collectively, these appointments highlight the structured support provided to various ministers. The presence of designated representatives ensures communication continuity and support across key governmental functions, ranging from social protection to energy and the environment.
