A residential structure located in the Siaurių village of Noriūnai, Kupiškis, burned down on Friday morning. The incident occurred at a private, two-story brick house featuring a wooden roof covered with roofing tiles. Firefighters responded to the scene after smoke was observed emanating from the building.
The fire was reported to have originated in the kitchen area, resulting in the burning of household items and the damage to the wooden roof structure. By the time emergency services arrived, significant smoke was present throughout the premises, and the living areas were heavily affected by the blaze. During the response, emergency personnel located a woman inside the residence.
