“I am proud that Lithuania could contribute to international efforts in the remote Venezuelan region,” the statement quoted. He noted that participation in such international endeavors directly bolsters domestic capabilities, stating, “Yesterday you helped in Venezuela, and tomorrow such help may be needed in Lithuania. Such missions strengthen our own readiness and ability to respond to complex emergency situations.”
