The Department of Fire Protection and Rescue reported an incident that occurred on July 22 at approximately 8:49 PM. Firefighters from the Kalvarija station were dispatched to an accident on Alytaus Street. Upon arrival at the scene, it was observed that a BMW 5 car had become detached from the road and subsequently struck a pole.
The force of the impact caused the pole to overturn onto the vehicle. Reports indicated that electrical wires were lying on the ground near the site. Occupants of the car had evacuated the vehicle, and authorities confirmed that there were no reported injuries among the individuals involved.
