After serious health challenges, Vidmantas Mačiulis writes an open letter: “I apologize to those I let down”

V. Mačiulis posted an update on Sunday detailing his recovery following surgery. The post included a photograph of him at the Heart Center clinic, where he shared his progress.

He began by expressing deep gratitude, stating, “Thank you. Thank you. Thank you…” He specifically acknowledged the public outpouring of support following the revelation of his unexpected heart issue, which had been covered by colleagues’ journalists.

Mačiulis extended his thanks to supporters not only within Lithuania but also across a wide international community. He thanked compatriots in countries including Ireland, Greece, Turkey, the USA, the UK, Germany, Austria, China, Latvia, and Russia for their sincere messages wishing him a speedy recovery. He also acknowledged the support surrounding his work, referencing the documentary “Uninvited Love” and the character associated with A.

Vecerskis, noting the collective consideration given to the project. In his update, Mačiulis indicated that he has taken into consideration the numerous kind requests received from his network. He stated that he plans to resume his activities with renewed strength, announcing that he will walk calmly starting the following day, marking a significant step after his recent medical procedures related to his heart.
