According to reports, Metus is recognized as a market leader within the service sector in Croatia, particularly due to its established service network and deep regional expertise. David Jacka, Chairman of the Civinity Group, commented on the integration, stating that the company plans to expand and manage this business utilizing the experienced personnel familiar with the local market.
The Metus Group operates with approximately 280 employees and maintains a diverse operational scope. Its activities encompass the production of lifts, the installation of new lift systems, and the ongoing maintenance and modernization of existing infrastructure. Within Croatia, Metus currently oversees the servicing of an estimated 2,800 lifts manufactured by various companies.
This acquisition significantly strengthens Civinity’s footprint in the region. By absorbing Metus’s specialized service capabilities, Civinity enhances its service offering throughout Croatia and Slovenia.
