Fresh food is even cheaper: the differences between old and new regular prices at “Maxima” are mentioned

Ernesta Vareikytė, media relations manager for Maxim, announced further price reductions across numerous essential fresh food items. The company highlighted savings on key daily necessities, including milk, butter, cream, fermented cheese, pre-packed bread, sausages, and various selections of whole and pre-packed pork. Vareikytė specified that the scope of the discounts extends beyond a small selection of goods.

Instead, the price reductions cover entire categories, encompassing more than half a thousand selected fresh food products. She stated that this initiative represents the ongoing fulfillment of the company’s new daily low-price strategy, a commitment that began in the spring. The announcement emphasized that the current pricing structure is not temporary.

The reduced rates, which were initially set during March, are now established as the permanent offer price for these identified product groups. “The prices for these identified product groups have been permanently lowered from their usual rates,” Vareikytė clarified, adding that these prices are sometimes even more competitive than those found at other retailers. This strategic approach aims to provide consumers with consistent value across fundamental grocery needs.

By implementing these sustained price cuts on such a wide array of fresh food products, the company intends to ensure that essential items remain highly accessible to the public. The focus remains on making core, high-demand products consistently affordable through this revised, long-term pricing model.
