After the storms – the forecaster’s message: what to expect in the weekend and next week

The specialist has issued a detailed forecast for the upcoming weekend, predicting generally calm and sunny conditions with minimal expected rainfall. On Saturday, August 8th, the forecast indicates that while there will be no widespread rain, a small possibility of light rain from a dark cloud is noted for the northern regions of Lithuania on the day. Wind patterns are anticipated to shift, with evening winds from the west ranging from 5 to 10 m/s, increasing to 7 to 12 m/s during the day.

Temperatures are projected to range from 10 to 14°C overnight, rising to 19 to 24°C during the day. The coastal areas are expected to see temperatures between 15 and 17°C. The western and northwestern parts of the region are forecast to experience the coolest temperatures.

Sunday, August 9th, is also expected to be dry, with no rain predicted for the entire day. Wind conditions will be less consistent, ranging from 2 to 6 m/s, and slightly increasing to 4 to 8 m/s on the day. Overnight temperatures are forecast between 9 and 13°C, while the coast should maintain temperatures of 14 to 16°C.

The daytime high for Sunday is predicted to reach 20 to 25°C. Overall, the weekend offers stable weather, and while specific localized rain is possible on Saturday, the general outlook remains favorable for outdoor activity.
