According to data from the VMI, on December 17th of the previous year, A. Silickienė made corrections to the declaration submitted by her spouse. Previously, the spouse had declared 6.7 thousand euros held in the bank and 88.7 thousand euros in cash.
Following the declaration correction, the amount of money held by the spouse in the bank increased to 25.4 thousand euros. Separately, A. Silickienė declared 70 thousand euros in cash, sourced from her total savings of 97.6 thousand euros.
In a separate matter concerning legal proceedings, S. Malinauskas stated that meetings involving S. Skvernelis do not appear to be coincidental, advising law enforcement to take this context into account.
ELTA reported a history of investigations involving S. Skvernelis. In February, searches were conducted at his home and office as part of an inquiry into possible corruption within the Agricultural Service.
Subsequently, S. Skvernelis was charged with bribery in April. Furthermore, during an investigation into serious corruption within the Agricultural Service, searches were conducted at his residence and office in December of the previous year, leading to subsequent bribery charges in April.
