The scope of the investigation covered a wide array of consumer electronics, including remote-controlled vehicles, model ships, trains, portable radio sets (walkie-talkies), children’s portable computers, and smart toys. The testing protocols utilized advanced laboratory equipment to assess devices operating via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and various radio frequency technologies.
These evaluations were carried out until November of the preceding year. According to reports from RRT Elektromag, because the products were purchased directly from the commercial market, the testing procedures were necessarily limited to verifying basic parameters to determine compliance with the effective use of the radio frequency spectrum. A primary finding of the research indicated that the majority of tested devices operated within the 2.4 GHz frequency band.
However, the testing scope was broader, encompassing checks on other operating frequencies as well. This systematic examination aims to ensure that diverse electronic items, from complex toys to communication radios, adhere to established standards for electromagnetic compatibility. The detailed nature of this study underscores the importance of monitoring consumer electronics that utilize wireless communication.
