Publication of images from the first collision of Russian and Danish drones in the Baltic Sea

The testing of the “Stormborn X-Wave 01” system took place approximately 30 kilometers southeast of Bornholm Island. According to reports from “Stormborn,” and coverage provided by the Danish television channel “TV 2,” the exercise involved radar and sonar equipment developed by the Danish defense manufacturers, Terma and Mydefence. During the operation, a corvette identified as “Soobrazitelnyj,” which belongs to the “Stereguščij” class and is associated with “Project 20380,” approached the testing vessel.

The corvette, bearing hull number 531, passed within about 200 meters of the Danish ship, resulting in the disconnection of the vessel’s Automatic Identification System (AIS) receiver. Following this maneuver, “Stormborn” reported that the corvette launched a small quadcopter. This drone remained airborne for several minutes, circling the Danish ship in a consistent pattern.

The exercise demonstrated the capabilities of the advanced detection and monitoring technologies being tested in the region. The deployment highlights ongoing activities involving sophisticated naval equipment in Danish waters.
