At approximately 6:13 a.m. on Jūros street in Palanga, local authorities were alerted to incidents involving damaged and burglarized commercial setups. According to reports from the Palanga Police, two separate commercial tents were compromised during the early morning hours.
The initial report detailed damage to one commercial tent. The structure was found torn, and items reported stolen included various food products and a lengthening cable. The assessed financial damage related to this first incident totaled 386 euros.
Subsequently, police officers discovered a second commercial tent that had also sustained damage. This second theft involved the removal of jewelry. The estimated loss from this second incident was reported at 700 euros.
Following the discovery of both incidents, a formal theft investigation was immediately launched by the Palanga Police department. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the damage to the tents and the subsequent thefts. The police have stated that they are working to determine the scope of the losses and identify those responsible for the break-ins at the commercial sites located on Jūros street.
