Two separate incidents involving the discovery of deceased individuals have been reported in Lithuania. In the city of Kaunas, the body of a man, born in 1982, was discovered in a state of decomposition at his residence located on V. Krėvės prospektas.
The discovery was reported to authorities around 10:00 a.m. Later that day, similar circumstances were reported in Vilnius. At 11:37 a.m., a second body was found at a residence on Papilėnų street.
This individual, born in 1985, was also found to be in an advanced state of decomposition. In both instances, local law enforcement and forensic teams have been dispatched to the scenes. Investigations into the precise cause of death for both men have been initiated.
Authorities are currently working to gather evidence and determine the circumstances surrounding each death. The presence of decomposition suggests that the bodies were discovered some time after the time of death. Officials confirmed that forensic teams are treating both cases as active investigations.
The police are treating the discoveries with the highest level of seriousness, and inquiries into the findings in both Kaunas and Vilnius are ongoing.
