The Lithuanian kennel “TAURO Kennel” in Bologna has been recognized as the second best in the world

The World Dog Show, recognized as the largest canine exhibition globally, is comparable in significance to the Olympic Games within the sporting world. It is an anticipated event that draws elite kennels, renowned judges, top-tier canine specimens, and skilled handlers. This year’s iteration took place from June 3 to 7 at the BolognaFiere exhibition center in Italy, marking it as one of the largest dog shows in recorded history.

The scale of the event held within one of Italy’s premier exhibition centers was substantial. Statistics from the world dog show revealed the participation of over 31,000 dogs across the large pavilions. Furthermore, approximately 14,000 canine athletes competed in the world championship, representing 70 different countries.

The breadth of the event was further demonstrated by the presentation of more than 400 breeds recognized by the International Kennel Federation (FCI). The dog show serves as a pivotal gathering in the international canine calendar, cementing its status as a world-leading event.
