Police in Vilnius arrested a young man who had 103 bags containing drugs

At 6:00 a.m. on Monday morning, police officers from the local Police Department conducted an arrest on Krivulės Street. The operation resulted in the detention of a man, who was born in 2005.

During the police action, officers seized a significant quantity of materials packaged in various containers. The evidence collected included fourteen polyethylene bags containing a white powder, three polyethylene bags holding crystallized material, and an additional 51 vacuum-sealed bags, all containing various substances. Authorities suspect that the contents of these bags are narcotics.

According to reports, the man was reportedly engaged in the distribution of these illicit substances. Furthermore, it was noted that the transactions for these drugs were being conducted using cryptocurrency. Following the arrest, the man was taken into custody and placed in a local detention center.

The police investigation into the seized materials is ongoing. The seizure of multiple bags and vacuum-sealed packages suggests a larger operation concerning the distribution of controlled substances within the area. The incident highlights the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to combat illegal drug trafficking.
