According to reports from the Telšių County Police, two separate incidents involving a stolen vehicle were recorded over two days. On July 22, between 16:00 and 20:30, a gray Ford Fusion car was reported stolen from a residence in the village of Pagamė, located in the Akmenės district. The initial theft included the vehicle’s ignition keys and a wallet containing the owner’s driver’s license.
The estimated value of the property taken in this incident was 1,300 euros. The sequence of events continued the following day. On July 23, around 1:20 AM, the car was reported missing again in the Joniškio district, along the Žagarė – Juodeikiai – Piktuižiai highway.
At this time, the vehicle had been driven off the road and sustained damage, and other items were also reported stolen. Despite the circumstances, the car was recovered on July 23, also around 1:20 AM, at the Šiauliai public toilet. At the location where the vehicle was found, police noted that a wallet containing the victim’s driver’s license had been left unattended.
The total value associated with the recovered property was significantly higher, estimated at 51,000 euros. The Telšių County Police handled the investigation into both incidents.
