A robbery “desant” took place in Vilnius and Klaipėda: 115,000 euros, gold and two tractors were taken

Police authorities have reported multiple incidents of theft across different Lithuanian locations. In Vilnius, two separate incidents were reported on the morning of the investigation. Around 7:40 a.m., authorities at Meistrų g.

discovered that the lock on a warehouse door had been forcibly broken, granting unauthorized entry to the company premises. Initial assessments indicated that approximately 15,000 euros had been stolen during the break-in. Later, around 9:30 a.m., a second theft occurred at Astikų g.

Here, the facility’s gate was cut, and two tractors (trucks) were reported stolen, representing a loss estimated at 60,000 euros. Separately, a significant theft was reported in Klaipėda. Around 19:50 a.m., perpetrators targeted a residence located at S.

Daukanto g. The thieves stole an amount totaling 100,000 euros, in addition to various pieces of gold jewelry. In all reported cases, the police department confirmed that the identities of the individuals responsible for the thefts have not yet been established.

Authorities are currently investigating the incidents in Vilnius and Klaipėda to recover the stolen assets and apprehend those responsible.
