Authorities from the Panevėžys Regional Police Commissionerate conducted an investigation concerning multiple allegations of illegal activity. The suspects are under investigation for the illegal possession of firearms, ammunition, and explosives, as well as the illegal possession of narcotic or psychotropic substances. Further charges relate to possessing such substances with the intent to distribute, or possessing an excessively large quantity of controlled narcotics or psychotropic materials.
During the course of the investigation, officers conducted searches at the suspects’ private residence and place of employment. The evidence collected suggests a connection between the materials discovered and the criminal acts currently under review. Specifically, searches yielded several substances identified as psychotropic drugs, which police believe are relevant to the ongoing investigation.
In addition to the controlled substances, authorities also recovered approximately 50 units of ammunition spanning various calibers. The police operation involved a coordinated effort between the Panevėžys Regional Police Commissionerate and the local Police Department. These procedural actions underscore the scope of the investigation into the illegal accumulation and possession of dangerous materials.
The findings continue to guide the authorities as they build a case regarding the illegal handling and possession of both weaponry and controlled psychotropic substances.
