According to Linda Andersson, European region operations manager for Evolution, Lithuania presents a compelling environment for the expansion of international technology firms. The combination of a highly motivated and young talent pool, coupled with favorable conditions for business development, positions the country for positive future growth. Consequently, the company plans to expand its local team by hiring new personnel.
Andersson noted that the establishment of the Vilnius office aligns with a broader global strategy, joining over 40 other cities worldwide, including major hubs such as Stockholm, Riga, Madrid, Philadelphia, São Paulo, and Buenos Aires. She stated that the Vilnius location is expected to become a crucial component of Evolution’s global operations, with services originating in Lithuania serving clients across approximately 20 international markets. Evolution initially commenced its operations in Lithuania in 2020 by opening a branch in Kaunas.
The continued focus on the capital, Vilnius, underscores the company’s commitment to the region’s technological development landscape. This strategic move reflects the perceived strength of the Lithuanian market for international business. The expansion solidifies the company’s footprint, connecting local expertise with global networks, echoing the reach of established markets, including those connected to the Swedish business community.
